Faatma Be Oné

Largely informed by her experience of being a stranger in a strange land and finding home in her body, Faatma tells visual stories while making the mundane sacred and emphasizing PROCESS. She creates interactive installations, paints public and private murals, functional and sculptural works in clay, paint, plants and fiber.

Faatma also consults and collaborates with organizers, community leaders and mental health professionals to incorporate art into their work and always, in all ways, with a focus on our Earth as our salvation.
